SK On Hungary’s 3rd European EV (electric vehicle) battery factory is being built in Iváncsa, Fejér county. Our plant is on schedule to be completed soon and will start manufacturing products for our automotive partners by the first half of 2024.

It is worth noting that this will put Iváncaa on the world battery manufacturing map not only as a plant, but also as an important European manufacturing hub.

Iváncsa will play an important role for our international partners, as it will be the place where the lithium-ion batteries that are one of the foundations of an electric, carbon-free future will be produced.”
